What Happened to the Old Forum ? ...
OLD ADDRESS:
http://bluecollarpc.net/smf/index.php
Simple Machines Forums is open source like most forums and available as "one click" installations and updates / upgrades. Unfortunately between money games and programmer talent - many times the upgrade process is flawed and simply does not work no matter what you do. This particular application with my particular webhost does not work and there is a security issue to get the default 114 up to the 118 version.

Of course this will just keep going on and on with each new upgrade neccessary and here for example they will offer to "do it for you" by a $50 (US) membership which is absurd because you get only one upgrade per year for the price. I am not paying anyone $50 to perform what quality open source is to be which is "one click installation". (google it).

If you don't know, this is the magic of Windows - one click installation - that reality and 90 percent of world computer users on Windows rely on every day. Software writers (programmers) not able to create this usually reside in opensource software projects and obviously suck if they cannot create such in the project - one click Windows installation of all softwares and their Updates or Upgrades. Welcome to the real world on come on out Prudence - the weather's fine !

We had an Ooops !

Unfortunately the entire Forums content was
lost due to inferior programming if anything during attmpted upgrading
and even a restore option.

We have moved our Forums to a new hosted destination here:

This will be the last time I trust my/our labors to the open source community. They suck mostly - period.
